Forest Certification

Through our management prescriptions and standard operating procedures (SOP), Sapulut is committed to good practices in Natural Forest (NFM) based on the the requirements of forest management certification. All our managers, officers, staff, and contractors are required to follow such SOPs. Sapulut is also committed to maintaining its Forest Management Certification with firm adherence to the Principles and Criteria of Malaysian Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Forest Management [MC&I (SFM)]. We believe the Forest Management Certification is positive for the company, as well as the industry.

Our FMU was awarded the forest management certification under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS) for MC&I Sustainable Forest Management for Natural Forest.
