Acknowledgements

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the hardworking and skilled “Super Saiyan KK Carpenters” team, who played a crucial role in preparing and transporting the two large and heavy CLT prototypes. Their effort was vital in ensuring the prototypes were displayed successfully at the SICC booth despite the limited space available.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Sapulut team for their excellent coordination in preparing the panels for the showcase. Your collaboration played a key role in the overall success of the presentation.

Thank you all for your commitment and invaluable contributions!

Personal Observations from Booth Manning Officers (BMO):

“I am deeply grateful for the trust and opportunity provided by the Company to represent Sapulut at this prestigious event. It was inspiring to engage with visitors and share our vision for creating an Industrial Tree Planting Economic Value Chain. Personally, I observed that Sapulut’s booth presented a clear direction for the future, standing out amongst the other exhibits.”

Teddy Sius, FMUEM

Thank you to the management for trusting me with this opportunity—it was my first experience manning a booth at a conference. The two-day event was an eye-opening experience, allowing me to exchange ideas and learn from people with diverse backgrounds. It was a privilege to discuss Sapulut’s future goals, and I am thankful for the chance to share our vision for sustainable development in the forestry sector.”

Stephen David, Forest Plantation Department

It was truly an honor to represent Sapulut at the 20th MFC. I had the privilege of introducing our CLT prototypes (pictured above) and explaining the manufacturing process to Forestry Officers and other visitors. CLT is a sustainable building material made by bonding layers of locally sourced timber in different orientations, resulting in a strong yet eco-friendly product. This aligns with the growing global emphasis on sustainability and environmentally responsible building practices. Engaging with visitors and discussing the role of sustainable materials in modern construction was a rewarding experience, and many expressed excitements about the future potential of CLT in Sabah’s building industry.”

Sapulut expressed sincere gratitude to all booth visitors for their interest and feedback. The company looks forward to continuing its efforts in developing sustainable forestry practices and advancing the green economy in Sabah.
